You may sign up for Executive, Championship or Nine & Dine golf outings by:
1. Clicking on one of the links below:
2. Going to "SGV Golf" in the navigation bar above and choosing one of the golf sub-headings and then clicking the sign-up button.
How to Sign Up: At least 7 days before the outing go to one of the golf links above and you will be redirected to the appropriate golf spreadsheet. When the spreadsheet opens, scroll down to your name and tab over to the column for the date you want to play and enter "yes" in that cell. After you have entered "yes," you must hit Enter (or Tab to another cell) to register your input. Once you are finished, close the sign-up spreadsheet tab which will take you back to the SGV website.
It is your responsibility to revisit the spreadsheet to confirm that your preference to play has been properly recorded.
If you have a problem with the sign-up process, send an email to that particular event's Golf Coordinator explaining your problem. The Golf Coordinator will get back to you and provide assistance.
If you are a new or current member and your name is not on the golf spreadsheet, contact the appropriate Golf Director to have them add your name to the spreadsheet. (See SGV Business-SGV Steering Committee for email addresses for Golf Directors.) Changes in any of your personal information (email, telephone number, golf ID, address, etc.) should be sent as soon as possible to: memberservices@sgvclub.com.
It is your responsibility to go to the SGV website under "SGV Golf - Tee Times" to check your tee time, golf course and playing partners. Tee times are posted 2-3 days prior to the date of the event. Normally there will not be an email sent out with tee time information (except for 18-Hole Championship Golf).
You are expected to be at the golf course approximately 30 minutes prior to your tee time. If you are playing golf in The Villages, you should make golf cart arrangements within your foursome or rent a golf cart from the closest championship course.
The SGV Club, being a group interested in golfing, socializing, fun and fellowship, is always open to suggestions for new golfing formats and outings for all members to enjoy. If you have an idea or suggestion, contact any Golf Director or Steering Committee member. Special Events (when organized) will be detailed under "Social - Special Events."
