Summer 2026 Nine and Dine outings are now organized and the signup spreadsheet is online. The first outing is June 3, 2026 and the last outing is October 28, 2026. Nine and Dine is played every Wednesday in The Villages on several championship courses. From June through September outings will be a shotgun format beginning at 5:00pm unless otherwise noted. In October this will change to tee times format starting around 4:20 pm. Golf is followed by drinks/dinner at the hosting country club restaurant.
A weekly email is sent to the membership inviting them to sign up on the Nine & Dine spreadsheet. Players may sign up individually or choose their cart partner if they so desire but may not request to play with anyone else or another couple. To sign up with another cart partner, go to your cell on spreadsheet for date you want to play and enter "Yes/(last name of golf partner)" in your signup box. Make sure to go to your partner's box and add "Yes/(your last name)". Nine and Dine is a friendly format with no formal game; however, some players like to make their own game amongst their foursome.
Your starting hole number or tee time will be posted on the "SGV Golf - Tee Times" page by Monday before the Wednesday game. Scroll down past Executive and 18-Hole tee time lists. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your tee time.
The Nine and Dine signup sheet has a column for members to enter their "yes" if they will be attending the social afterward. Please pay attention to this detail, as it greatly helps the coordinator and our relationship with country clubs when making restaurant reservations. If you find after you have entered your "yes" that you cannot make the social, please go in and remove your "yes" at least 3 days prior to event.
